FAQ
Crop image questions
What do X and Y mean?
X is the horizontal distance from the left edge of the original image. Y is the vertical distance from the top edge. Both values are measured in pixels.
Does Crop Image resize the selected area?
No. The crop keeps the selected pixels at their original resolution. A 1080 × 1350 crop produces a 1080 × 1350 image.
Can I crop to a social media aspect ratio?
Yes. The first version includes 1:1, 4:5, 16:9 and 3:2 presets. You can still enter exact pixel dimensions after choosing the area.
Which formats are supported?
This first version supports JPG, PNG and WebP and exports in the same format.
